Let’s face it, our bodies need a little extra love after a week of rushing about, skipping meals, staying up late, and indulging (hey, Saturday pizza night!). For that reason, I made this Easy 1-Day Sunday Detox Plan, which consists of healthy food, mindful practices, and a gentle reset to get your week off to a great start. It doesn’t include expensive powders or fasting.

🌞 Morning Routines: Wash and Wake

  1. Use warm water, lemon juice, and a bit of cumin or turmeric to wake up.This easy beverage aids in the removal of impurities and gradually awakens your digestive system.
  2. Spend ten minutes stretching.: Your body will appreciate a little stroll on the terrace or a few sun salutations!
  3. Magical herbal tea (8 AM) :Try a cup of tea made with ginger, tulsi, and mint. It helps with digestion, immunity, and relaxation.

🥗 Light & Loving Meals

🕘 Breakfast (9:30 AM):

Five soaked almonds, one teaspoon of flaxseeds, and seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon, or daalimbe (pomegranate)

Advice: Don’t combine items that include milk and citrus today.

🕛 Midday Hydration (11:30 AM):

Detox Water or Coconut Water

  • Infuse water with cucumber, mint, jeera, or fennel seeds.

🕐 Lunch (1:00 PM):

Steamed Veggies + Mung Dal Khichdi

  • Light, wholesome, and full of fiber. Add jeera tadka and a pinch of hing (asafoetida) for better digestion.

🕒 Evening Sip (4:00 PM):

Green Tea or Cinnamon Water

  • Keeps metabolism in check and curbs cravings.

🕕 Early Dinner (6:30 – 7:00 PM):

Clear Veggie Soup or Bottle Gourd (Sorekai) Stew

  • Light, warm, and easy on the tummy.
    Optional: A bowl of curd or a spoon of homemade pickle for probiotics.

🌙 Night Routine: Relax & Recharge

  • Take a warm bath with a spoon of Epsom salt or a few boiled Tulsi leaves added for a soothing, calming effect.
  • Journal your thoughts or do 5 minutes of deep breathing.
  • Drink a cup of warm water before bed.
  • Sleep by 10 PM for the ultimate mind-body detox!
